GT 390 Four Speed 9" Posi Factory Black and Red Color Combo

Up for sale we have a 1967 Ford Mustang GT 390. If you're looking for a special car then look no further. The gentleman we purchased this car from had owned it since 1979. This is 1 of only 57 GT 390 Four Speed Mustangs done in the Black with Red interior color combo. The restoration was done a few years back, but still is in great condition. It starts with the rock-solid body that is arrow straight with excellent panel fit and great gaps around the doors, hood, and trunk. This '67 is done in the Raven Black Paint scheme which is the factory color for it. The paint has been very well taken care of since the restoration, and we have buffed and polished it to a mirror finish with a deep rich shine. With this being a GT it does have the GT Emblems, Grill Mounted Fog Lamps, and dual exhaust with the Chrome Quad Outlets. Looking closely at the chrome and stainless you'll see the bumpers look great with some light aging. And all the stainless is in great condition with new vent windows having been installed. When restored it appears new seals were installed around the front and rear glass. For a special touch the wheels were upgraded to '69 model 15” Shelby Wheels with Polyglass GT Tires.
On the inside it's done in Red which is also the factory color combo for it. When you open the door, you'll notice new weather stripping has been installed. This Mustang features the Bucket seats and the iconic fold down back seat. Also, it has the center console with the Hurst Shifter and upgraded AM/FM Radio that is working. This Mustang also has the overhead console and factory seat belts. All of the interior stainless appears to be factory and is in very good condition considering its' age. As you sit down you will notice the dash features the Factory Tach that's working along with the Speedo and Gas gauge. In the trunk new weather stripping was installed and it has the trunk mat along with set of Red Mustang Floor mats.
Under the hood it features a 390 Engine that is set up with an Aluminum Intake and the '67 Model Holley Carb that would have original came on a 390. The engine is dressed with Aluminum Valve covers and Breather. It's mated to the Top Loader Four Speed that would have also come behind a 390 GT. The Rear End is a 9” Posi with a 3.23 Gear. This being a GT it does have Power Brakes with front Disc. Under the front it has had the ball joints replaced along with the end link bushings and sway bar bushings. As you look at this car on the rack you will be thoroughly impressed with how solid everything is. It's been detailed in the Red Oxide Primer and the floors appear to have had no patches!
