1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Frame Off 396 V8 Muncie 4 Speed 12 Bolt Tubular Arms

Here we have a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport for sale. This was a Texas car that has been phenomenally cared for over the years and is a factory 138 Vin SS car. It's had a meticulous Frame Off restoration done that resulted in a stunning ride that is guaranteed to turn heads anywhere you go. The body on it is stunning, as all the lines flow seamlessly from front to back, and it has an excellent fit of all the panels, doors, hood, and trunk. This SS is showcased by the Bolero Red paint that was redone in the base coat clear coat. It had countless hours spent buffing and polishing it out to a mirror finish that's as slick as a ribbon. The black stripes accent the Red down low along with having the black vinyl top that was installed new at the time of the restoration. It also comes with the lower rocker molding and wheel opening molding. All the trim and stainless has a brilliant finish. Both bumpers are like new as well. Up front, we can see that the grill and trim are in excellent condition. Out back the tail light bezels are in great condition along with the trunk trim having been replaced. All the glass in this Chevelle is in excellent condition and has had all new seals, weather stripping and window felts installed. To finish off the look it's sitting on the factory-styled 7” Rally Wheels with flat centers, beauty rings, and a set of BF Goodrich Silvertown Red Line Radials.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Super Sport. On the inside, it's done in the classic black which provides the perfect complement to the exterior. New door panels were installed at the time of the restoration along with new carpet and headliner. Everything has a great fit and finish. It's upgraded with an aftermarket set of bucket seats and a matching rear bench seat. They have a great profile and make for a comfortable ride on the highway. This Chevelle does have the center console that houses the Four Speed Shifter and has the working clock as well. Looking at the dash we can see it has the Corvette wood three-spoke steering wheel. The dashpad has been replaced and all of the trim looks awesome as well. It comes with the blinker tach that works as it should and the rest of the gauges are working as well. We can see the radio has been upgraded and a set of stewart warner gauges have been added. Inside the trunk is all rock solid from the jams to the pans. New weather stripping was installed and it's detailed out with the spatter paint, trunk mat, and spare with the jack.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood is just as clean as the rest of the vehicle. The firewall and inner fenders are all rock solid. The power comes from the '67 Model L34 396 V8 engine with the EU suffix code. This 396 is set up with the Winters Aluminum Intake and Holley 4779-9 750 Double Pumper Carb. It's dressed in the factory-style air cleaner, and valve covers. This Super Sport comes with Power Steering with upgraded AGR Steering Box, and Power Brakes that feature Disc on the front. We can also see its set up with the MSD 6AL Ignition and MSD Coil. For exhaust it has a set of Doug's Headers with Dual Pipes and Flowmaster Mufflers. The 396 is mated to the Muncie Four Speed manual transmission that goes out back to the 12 Bolt rear end with 3.73 Gears. When we look under this Chevelle we can see they did a great job with the frame off resto as they installed all new body bushings. All the suspension was upgraded as well! It has Heidt's upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms, Upgraded Front Sway Bar, coilovers on the front, Boxed Control arms out back, and a rear sway bar. The floor pans and frame all look to be rock solid and in excellent condition with no signs of abuse over the years.
