Up for sale we have a 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback. This car had the same owner since 1978 until we purchased it. The Speedo shows 77,960 and we believe it to be correct. It has the correct 289 Engine and it was repainted a few years back.
The body is good with straight panels. The fit of the doors, hood, and trunk is also good. At the time of the repaint they replaced the bumpers as well as other trim. As for the paint everything is covered in the Candy Apple Red that's accented by the White Stripes and shows well with a deep rich shine and is slick to the touch. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 18” and 20” American Racing Wheels with New Tires.
On the inside it's all done in black. It has the correct bucket seats and shifter. The carpet and door panels have been replaced but we were told the seats and headliner are factory. When you look at the dash it's all factory down to the AM radio that still works, and under the dash you will see an FM converter.
Under the hood it's looks stock. It features the original 289 V8 that'. The trans is a C4 Automatic with the 8” Rear End. This Mustang has Power Steering and 4 Wheel Drum Brakes. When you look under it the floors are solid and have been cleaned and painted. The new dual exhaust was installed along with Flow Master Mufflers.
This is a good driver that was well maintained as part of the same family since 1978. If we can help you in any way with questions or a specific picture, you can call our office at (865)988-8088.
