1970 Plymouth GTX Rotisserie Restored 440 V8 TorqueFlite Trans Power Brakes PS

Here we have a 1970 Plymouth GTX for sale. This is a factory 440 Big Block Car that has undergone a complete Rotisserie Restoration. If you are a Mopar fan and looking for top quality ride to cruise or show, then you won't want to miss this opportunity. The body on it is laser straight downs the sides with excellent fit of all the panels. We can see that they took the time to get the fit right on this car while it was apart before ever doing the paint and reassembly. The gaps are even and symmetrical and the body lines flow beautiful from front to back. This GTX is showcased by the base coat clear coat Jamaica Blue Metallic paint which is the factory paint color. The blue is accented by the V21 Performance Hood Treatment along with having the Black stripes down the sides. This is a two door hard top model and we can see that all the glass in phenomenal along with the seals and weather stripping. All the side glass goes up and down with ease and has a great fit. Both the front and rear bumpers look to have been replaced at the time of the restoration and have a brilliant shine along with the rest of the trim on this '70. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on the factory style 15” Rally Wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/A White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '70. On the inside it's equally impressive as everything is in either new or in like new condition. It's done in the classic black that flows perfectly with the exterior. Both door panels and the rear panels are in great condition and have the standard roll up windows. This GTX has bucket seats along with the console option that houses the automatic shifter. The seats front and rear look to have been redone at the time of the restoration. All the padding and springs are in great condition as well. New Carpet and Headliner was installed at the time of the restoration, and they did an excellent job with the install. Looking at the dash we can see that it has the woodgrain accents that flow perfectly with the door panels. The gauges are all in great shape and are working as they should as well. Also, we can see that the dash pad is great as well. Inside the trunk is all rock solid and has been detailed out with the spare and jack.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Plymouth. It's all just as beautiful as the rest of the car. They clearly took their time in making sure it was detailed out to a high standard as the paint is just as slick as the rest of the car. It's powered by the 440 Casting 2536430 V8 engine that's setup with the four-barrel intake and carb. This 440 is dressed out in the factory style air cleaner and valve covers that are painted to match the block. You'll notice that this GTX has the Chrysler style radiator and fan with shroud to keep it cool. Also, you'll notice that it has Power Steering along with Power Brakes. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and flow master style mufflers. The 440 is mated to the 727 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission and the 8 ¾” Rear End. When we look under this GTX you're sure to be impressed as the floor pans are all rock solid and finished out in body color. All new fuel lines were installed along with a new gas tank. The front suspension is in great condition along with all the bushings. Out back it has leaf springs that are all in great condition as well. On the highway this Plymouth runs and drives phenomenal! The transmission shifts out smooth and in handles with ease. Don't miss out on this high quality Mopar that's read to cruise or show!
