1980 MG MGB Roadster 1.8L 4 Speed Over Drive Power Disc Brakes Great Driver

Here we have a 1980 MG MGB Roadster for sale. This car was bought new in TN and is part of the National MGB Registry. It comes with the original warranty documents along with other purchase information. The body on it is rock solid and has been extremely well cared for over the years. It is painted in the Dark British Racing Green color scheme. The paint on this MGB has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous finish that is slick as a ribbon. All the trim and stainless has a brilliant shine and it is set up with Black Bumpers front and Rear that are both in great condition. It also has the Black Convertible top that is in excellent condition. This MGB comes with the Glass Wind Screen along with having the luggage rack. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15” Wire Wheels that have a like new finish and 195/60 Toyo Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this MGB. On the inside it has in excellent condition and has been extremely well cared for. Looking at the dash you will notice all the gauges look amazing and are all working down to the clock. The dash pad shows some minor age but looks very clean. All the door panels are in great condition along with the carpet. The bucket seats are done in Leather and look amazing as well. In the trunk it has the carpet kit and comes with the jack and wheel tool.
Finally we will look at the driveline of this MGB. Under the hood it's powered by the .40 over 1.8L Engine with engine code 18V884AEL. It's set up with the side draft carburetors that have twin K&N Air Filters. It's all got the Finned Valve cover and for exhaust it has the Header and single pipe with turbo style muffler. To keep it cool it's running dual electric fans. The 1.8L Engine is mated to the four speed manual transmission with overdrive. Everything in the engine bay is clean and looks to be rock solid. It does come with Power Brakes with Disc on the front and drums out back. When you look under this MG you'll see that the frame and floors all look amazing and solid. All the suspension is in great condition as well. This car is pleasure to drive on the highway and the previous owner has taken it down Route 66 multiple times. So, no worries on hitting the highway to cruise.
