1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner Convertible 332 V8 4 Barrel 3 Speed w/ Overdrive

Here we have a 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible for sale. This one year only body style came with a lot of gorgeous features that have come to be loved over the years. The Fairlane 500 was the highest package you could get, and it was offered in the Skyliner or Sunliner option. This one is a Sunliner Convertible and is a gorgeous car inside and out. The body on it is all rock solid and down the sides are arrow straight. It's covered in the Colonial White and Gulfstream Blue paint which is the factory option. The paint was redone in single stage, and they did an excellent job on buffing polishing it to a mirror finish. We can see that all the side trim has a brilliant shine and lines up as close to perfect as you can ask for. Both the front and rear bumpers also have a like new shine and phenomenal fit. New for '58 was the quad headlights that really give the front and iconic look along with the hood scoop. You'll notice the hood has an excellent fit along with both doors and the trunk. This Sunliner Convertible is Power and done in white that compliments the exterior color scheme perfectly. To finish off the look it's sitting on the factory 14” Steel Wheels that are painted Gulfstream Blue and accented by the factory Hub Caps and Coker Classic Wide White Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Convertible. On the inside it's done in the two-tone Colonial and Gulf Stream Blue color combo that flows perfectly with the exterior. It comes with vinyl seats that are bench both front and back. All the door panels are in excellent condition, and it has the crank windows that all go up and down with ease. You'll also notice that they have a beautiful fit when the top is up as well. Looking at the dash we can see that it's painted slick just like the exterior. It looks to have all the factory gauges that look amazing and are working as they should. You'll also notice it has the remote outside side mirrors that are working as well. This '58 has the factory steering wheel with 3 on the tree and the optional overdrive that is also working. Inside the trunk is all solid as well and all the jams look amazing.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it's powered by the 332 V8 engine that's set up with the 4 Barrel Carb which was the factory option for this G Code Sunliner. Everything under the hood has a stunning detail as it's all solid and the inner fenders and firewall look amazing. The 332 V8 is dressed in the factory black valve covers and black air cleaner. It comes with Power Steering and Standard Brakes. When you look under this Convertible you are sure to be impressed as the X Frame is all solid and looks amazing along with all the body mounts. The floor pans are equally impressive and are all solid as well. The suspension is in excellent condition and on the highway, it handles with ease. This '58 is set up with the 3 Speed Manual Transmission with overdrive that runs through the stock rear end. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes that exit out the back. This is a gorgeous Fairlane 500 Sunliner that's sure to turn heads anywhere you cruise!
