1966 Ford Mustang 302 V8 Auto Air Condition PS Wilwood Disc Brakes GT Tribute

Here we have a 1966 Ford Mustang for sale. This car underwent a nearly 8 year restoration to get it completed to the vehicle you see today. It's won numerous awards and has the documentation of the restoration sorted by years. The body on it was stripped all the way down to the metal for the restoration and they did an excellent job of fitting all the panels on a laser straight body. It's showcased by the Alcapulco Blue paint that was redone in the base coat clear coat paint that has been kept polished to a mirror finish. The Blue is accented by the Black stripes down low along with having had a new black vinyl top installed. We can also see that the windows have been tinted and that they are in great condition. All the trim around the top and glass has a brilliant shine with no signs of abuse. Both the rear and front bumpers are equally nice and look so have bene replaced at the time of the restoration. Up front the grill is gorgeous and you'll notice it has the fog lights with the LED accents. All new tail lights and headlights were also installed. Out back it has the GT gas cap along with having the dual exiting pipes out the rear valance. To finish off the look it's sitting on the 15” Legendary Wheels with Firestone Wide Oval White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '66. On the inside it flows perfect with the exterior color combo as it's done in black. It features the bucket seats and mini console with the cupholders. Both the bucket seats and the back seat have been redone and all the padding is exceptional. All new door panels look to have been installed and they are equally nice. You'll also notice the did an excellent job installing the new carpet and headliner. Looking at the dash we can see that the pad is like new and is done in black. It sports the factory style gauges that are working and a new tach was also installed. This Mustang also has the wood grain steering wheel and the floor shifter for the automatic transmission. The radio has been upgraded with a new CD player along with new speakers being installed. It's also set up with the new style AC with the under the dash unit. Inside the trunk is all solid and it's detailed out with a trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. It's powered by a custom built 302 V8 engine with forged crankshaft, forged I beam connection rod with ARP rod bolts, and hyperetutectic Pistons with chrome moly rings. It's set up with the GT40P heads and comp racing camp with comp racing magnum push rods, lifter, valve, springs, and seals with dual roller timing chain. Up top it has the Edelbrock Performer Intake and 600 Carb. They installed the MSD billet electronic distributor with flame thrower coil. For exhaust it has the Tri- Y aluminum coated headers with 2 ½” Custom Exhaust and the glass packed mufflers. The 302 runs through the rebuilt C4 Automatic Transmission with heavy duty pumps and bands. All the suspension has been upgraded on this Mustang as well along with having new gas shocks with both front and rear sway bars. When you look under it we can see that new floor pans were installed and the tubed frame connectors were installed. Along with having Air Conditioning it also comes with Power Steering along with Power Brakes with Wilwood disc on the front. All this comes together to give you not just a gorgeous vehicle that you could show, but also be comfortable to turn the key in cruise.
