One of the most stylish and iconic Ford's ever built, the '57 Thunderbird captured the hearts of Automotive Enthusiast and is widely loved around the world today. The body on it is one of the best you will ever find. Ford's iconic styling is showcased well with beautiful body lines that's flow seamlessly from front to back. All of the gaps at the doors, hood and trunk are even and symmetrical and everything opens and closes with ease. This Thunderbird was redone in the Bronze Iridescent which is the factory option. It's been done in the base coat clear coat that has had countless hours spent buffing and polishing it to a mirror finish that's slick as a ribbon. It's accented by the Port Hole hard top that's done in white and provides a beautiful compliment. Up front we can see that the bumper was redone and has brilliant finish just like the grill and emblems. Out back the rear bumper is equally impressive along with all the taillight lenses. Every piece of trim on this '57 has been polished to a brilliant finish. All the glass is also like new along with the seals and weather stripping. Next, we will look at the interior of this Thunderbird. On the inside it's done in the factory optioned XJ Bronze that has the two-tone accents in the seats and door panels. We can see the door panels are stunning at it comes with Power Windows. You'll also notice that this '57 is equipped with the Power Seat Option. Looking at the dash you can see that it's in excellent condition ang is set up like it would have been from the factory. All the trim is beautiful, and it has the working courtesy light along with having the factory style radio and air controls. The original gauges are all beautiful as well and working as they should. This '57 has the factory steering wheel as well. The carpet is all in phenomenal condition along with the headliner in the hard top. Inside the trunk is all rock solid from the jams to the pan. It dressed out in the factory trunk liner along with the spare and jack.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood has a great detail with everything being as close to factory as possible. The inner fenders, bottom of the hood and firewall are all beautiful. The power comes from the 312 V8 engine. This is a factory D Code car that comes set up with the Four Barrel Intake and Carb. It's dressed out in the factory style air cleaner with the polished valve covers. We can see that this Thunderbird comes equipped with Power Steering along with having the factory Power Brakes set up. When we look under this '57 you are sure to be impressed as they did an excellent job with the frame off restoration. The floor panes are all rock solid and painted body color. New bushings were installed in the front end along with new shock front and rear. The frame is detailed out in black and is all rock solid with no signs of abuse. A new gas tank was installed, and all the fuel lines and brake lines are in great shape. The 312 V8 engine is mated to the correct Ford-O-Matic Automatic Transmission and the factory 9” Ford Rear End. On the highway you couldn't ask for a sweeter riding or driving Thunderbird. The engine performs excellent, and the transmission shifts out smooth. All of the lights, wipers, and turn signals are working as well leaving you with a beautiful classic that's ready to cruise you back in time!
