Here we have a 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 for sale. This car is a collector's dream! In 2007 Ford took the world by storm by bringing back Carrol Shelby as a collaborator for the New GT500. For the first time since 1970 Shelby was back to being manufactured with the Ford Oval. The production of these GT500's forever changed the car industry as the power struggle for more Horsepower with iconic styling that's reflective of the Muscle Car heydays is going on still today! The body on this car is phenomenal as would be expected of a car with its pedigree. It features only 600 Original Miles!! It has always been garage kept in a climate-controlled environment and cared for with respect and appreciation that it deserves. This car is done in the Vista Blue with the White Stripes which was offered on only 926 cars. The paint on it is still has a gorgeous finish with a deep luster that looks like it just rolled off the show room floor. It's adorned with the GT500 call outs and the Cobra Emblems. The sleek styling of this car is not to be lost either as it sports a stunning body kit that flows front to back and sports the rear spoiler that is flashback to the era that led many of us to love these pony cars. To finish off the looks it's sitting on it's original SVT 18” wheels and the original Goodyear Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Ford. On the inside it's done in the black that flows perfectly with the Vista Blue and White color combo. The bucket seats are adorned by the Cobra Insignia and are Power. When you sit down in this GT500 there's not denying the level of care that's went into preserving it to the highest level. All of the dash is like new along with all of the gauges. You'll notice this Ford is set up with the Shaker 1000 radio and stereo system. The console is like new and houses this Six Speed Shifter with the red trimmed boot that ties perfect to the leather wrapped steering wheel and red accents in the gauges. All the panels, headliner, and carpet are like new along with the SVT seal plates. Inside the trunk you'll notice it has the matching car cover and add on license plate. It also has the subs for the Shaker 1000 stereo system.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this GT500. Under the hood everything looks just like the day it did when it was bought new. It's powered by the SuperCharged 5.4L V8 engine that is rated at 500 HP. It's mated to the Tremec Six Speed Transmission. The suspension was upgraded for these Shelby's with the MacPherson Strut with 34mm Stabilizer bar and Coil springs up front. Out back it has the 3 Link Solid axle with coil springs along with the Panhard bar and a 24MM Solid stabilizer bar. This performs phenomenal on the highway and handles with ease. It also has plenty of stopping bar with the Four-Wheel Disc Brakes with 14” Rotors up front and 11.8” Rotors out back. When you put this GT500 on the rack you can see that it's never been abused and is all in perfect condition.
