Here we have a 1966 Ford Mustang GT for sale. This car is a factory GT A Code car that has been redone in the factory color combination. It features the 289 Four Barrel with a Four Speed and has Disc Brakes on the front. As you walk around it you can see that it has stunning body lines and that the gaps and the doors, hood, and trunk are all excellent. The factory color on this Mustang is the Dark Green Metallic which has been redone in base coat clear coat. It has been buffed and polished to brilliant shine and is accented by the White Stripes down low. This car features the front fog lights which are working, and it also has original Carlite glass that is in excellent condition along with the seals and weather stripping. Both bumpers appear to have been replaced and the rest of the chrome and stainless is either new or has been polished to a like new condition. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15” Mustang Styled Steel Wheel with American Classic Red Line tires.
Next we will take a look at the interior of this GT. On the inside it's also done in the factory option with bucket seats and the Black color option which flows perfectly with the exterior. You'll notice new front buckets have been installed that have been custom done to match the factory style. Looking at the dash you can see that it all looks like it would have when new. It features the round GT Gauges and the factory style knobbed radio. This Mustang also has the 3 spoke Wood wheel and the dash pad is in excellent condition. It does have the correct Four Speed Shifter and all the interior trim is excellent along with the seat covers, carpet, and headliner. In the trunk it has a beautiful detail as well with the trunk mat and spare.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it features the 289 Engine that's set up with the Edelbrock Performer Intake and C8AF AE 4100 Autolite Carb. It's dressed in the Chrome Valve Covers and Air Cleaner with the 289 High Performance call out. This Mustang Comes with Disc Brakes up front and Drum Brakes out back with new brakes lines installed. It's also had a new gas tank installed along with new fuel lines. The detail under the hood is beautiful, but equally impressive is how solid the bottom of this Mustang is. When you look under it you can see that floor pans look to be original and rock solid along with the frame. The 289 Engine is mated to the T10 Four Speed Trans that goes out back to the 8 ¾” Rear End with around 3.00 Gear.
